Required documentation for travelling to Uruguay:

-At Tigre-

Legal aged people:

• Argentinian people or foreign residents: Identity card, DNI or Passport.
• Mercosur Identity Card: not expired.
• Policía Federal Identity Card: 10 years of validity approx.

Underaged people (until 21 years old)
• Argentinian people or foreign residents: Identity card, DNI or Passport.
• If they travel with both parents: marriage certificate or birth certificate (origianal or fotocopy certified by a Notary Public)
• If they travel with one of their parents: absent parent consent certified by a Notary Public and authenticated by the Public Notaries Association or issued by a Juvenil Judge plus birth certificate or marriage certificate.
• If they travel by themselves: both parents consent issued by a Notary Public and authenticated by the Public Notaries Association or issued by a Juvenil Judge.
• Underaged married people: marriage certificate and DNI, Identity Card or Passport. If they are not emancipated minors, they must have the Juvenil Judge consent to go out of the country.

Foreigners:

• Uruguayan people: Passport or current Identity Card.
• Neighbouring Countries: Passport or Identity Card plus current Visa to get into the country.
• Non – neighbouring Countries: Passport plus current Visa to get into the country.

Note: The documentation must be valid and in perfect conditions. The documents must show that you are who carry them and they must be checked and approved by the Immigration authorities.

-At Carmelo-

- To disembark you must show your Identification Card and your Migratory Card.
- You must check at our offices the date and time of returning.
- Bus connection to Montevideo: you must show your travel document “tarjeta terrestre” (Transuruguay)
- People who want to make connections with other places (from Montevideo) should go to the ticket office number 32 of Transuruguay to exchange their tickets.
